Our produce
We source most of our produce from Ted Dawson, an independent farmer in Lincolnshire, who also has weekly stalls at several London Farmers' Markets. He delivers on the same day as he comes to London to sell at the markets. His farm grows a wide range of vegetables and a limted range of fruit, but he also supplies us with seasonal UK fruit from neighbouring farms. For other fruit such as apples out of the UK season, he supplies us with imported fruit. However it is all surface-freighted, so there are no "air miles"! Vegetables supplied from Ted's farm are not organic but are unsprayed, seasonal and relatively local. Some produce is grown in unheated glasshouses to extend the season.
Also, we supply dried home-grown herbs, jams and chutneys, home-made biscuits and some fresh produce from local allotments where available.
